A Carlow artist and award-winning blogger will urge people to ‘live in the moment through reflexology,’ when she appears at Ireland’s biggest wellbeing event, the Mind, Body, Spirit and Yoga Festival in the RDS, Dublin from October 24 to 26.
Caroline Cunningham from Rathvilly in Carlow changed career 16 years ago to embark on a soul-searching journey around the world which led her to reflexology and discovery of creative talents.
“Reflexology is a very powerful therapy which promotes deep relaxation and self-healing,” she said.
“Sometimes we disrupt our energy flow though being tense and stressed. Reflexology encourages release of tension and enhanced circulation, which can lead to greater well-being.
Reflexology has been shown to be highly beneficial in restoring balance in body and mind. “Reflexology can also be adapted for use during pregnancy and cancer care and is popular with couples who have fertility problems,” she explains.
Caroline’s journey of self-discovery began at the Bel Canto School of Singing where she developed her vocal expression through the Art Of Singing. This in turn lent greater expression to other creative talents.
Now an artist, writer, singer and holistic therapist, Caroline offers a wealth of knowledge to those seeking healing and transformation. “I believe the essence of good health is contained in the path of authenticity.”
“My art has been featured recently as part of the Pure Thinking Community project, whereby a number of artists created portraits of inspirational Carlow people which were displayed on the outside of Carlow Post Office.”
Caroline has travelled to Peru twice where she penned her first novel and started her travel blog Wild Star Landing.
She is also a finalist in the forthcoming Irish Blog Awards in three categories including Best Health and Well Being Blog for Authentic Reflexology.
Princess Diana’s voice coach Stewart Pearce leads an array of inspirational and extraordinary speakers at the Mind, Body, Spirit and Yoga festival.
The event will feature 150 exhibitors and over 75 life-enhancing talks and workshops from positive psychology and personal development experts on topics as diverse as the science behind self-esteem, to how past lives can contribute to current traumas.
“People can look forward to a truly stimulating, vibrant and potentially life-changing experience at Mind, Body, Spirit,” said festival organiser Louis O’Sullivan.
The festival hosts an amazing spectrum of holistic and complementary practitioners with over 150 stands offering the chance to discover everything from Reiki and reflexology, to massage, meditation, bio-energy healing, angels, aromatherapy, crystals, chakra tools, Tibetan bowls, yoga therapy and more.
The live stage will be buzzing with free entertainment as a lively mix of 45 performances including music, dance, drumming and yoga demonstrations, take place over the three day event.
